Our History - Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF) was established in 1998. The founding MAIF President was Mr. George E. Anderson from USA (1998 - 2009). The 2nd MAIF President was Dr. Paul G. Hoglund from Sweden (2009 - 2014). Currently, Mr. Bruce R. Bethers from USA serves as the Secretary General (2015 to present). Over the past 25 plus years, MAIF has provided multiple international training and certification programs for traditional focused martial artists as well as competition training & events for sport focused martial artists.
Who Are We - MAIF is an All-Inclusive International Organization for All Styles or Systems of the Martial Arts. MAIF is a Non-Profit Corporation. MAIF works in cooperation with The Association For International Sport For All (TAFISA), Promoting Martial Arts Sport For All, which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The MAIF is more than a Governing Body, MAIF is working in cooperation with many systems and styles of the martial Arts with the primary focus of preserving the Martial Arts and encouraging mutual cooperation and respect. Traditional and Sport Minded Persons alike are Welcome to Unite under the MAIF Banner to ensure that the Martial Arts remains strong and focused for self-defense and self-improvement.
Our Mission - The Mission of the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF) is to unify Martial Artists across the globe with a foundation of mutual respect for all styles or systems of Martial Arts and to provide services and guidance to foster Technical Excellence, Fellowship and Human Character Development.
Our Vision - The Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF) is a world-class organization comprised of highly skilled and dedicated Ju-Jitsuka rich in tradition of excellence. We will provide our members unparalleled opportunities for personal growth, development and pride. We will always strive to exceed the expectations of Our Members and the Martial Arts Community.
